The Georgia Association of County Agricultural Agents honored several for their service and dedication to UGA Cooperative Extension and the field of agriculture at the 2017 Annual Meeting and Professional Improvement conference held in Columbus on November 6-8, 2017.

Fruit disease State Specialist, Dr. Phillip Brannen, received the Senior State Specialist award and Jason Duggin (left), beef cattle State specialist was awarded the Junior Specialist award.

Wesley Ham (center) from Monroe County was awarded the 2017 Georgia State Outstanding Young Farmer winner.

Lori Wurtz (center) from Webster County was awarded the Secretary of the Year award.

Steve Brown (second from left) former Assistant Dean for University of Georgia Cooperative Extension  was awarded the prestigious Friend of Extension Award.
