4-H ARCHERS COMPETE IN STATE CONTEST

Franklin County 4-H’ers took aim at the Georgia 4-H indoor archery match held February 27, 2016 at the Georgia National Fair Grounds and Agriculture Center in Perry, Georgia. To complete the contest, each archer shot three arrows each round for a total of 3 rounds and for a total of thirty arrows.

The event culminated months of weekly team practices for the team. The Archery Program is a part of the Georgia 4-H Shooting Awareness, Fun and Education Program (S.A.F.E.). The Georgia 4-H Foundation sponsors the program. This Year’s Participants were Bryce Adams, Devin Boyer, Braxton Bridges, Preston Busby, Ella Freeman, Gavin Freeman, Rhet Gambrell, Jonah Gilbert, Evan Norris, Jean Swancey and Tanner Thomas.
