(Shooting, Awareness, Fun, and Education) Program continues to hit the bullseye with its impactful shooting sports program. On January 18, 2025, 761 archers from across the state gathered at the McGill Building on the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry to compete in the Georgia 4-H State Indoor Archery Match. This event highlighted the dedication, skills, and sportsmanship of young participants from 110 counties, all united by their passion for archery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project S.A.F.E. is more than a shooting sports program; it is a transformative experience for youth, emphasizing safety, teamwork, concentration, and responsibility. Photo by Heather Haines.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, Forsyth County 4-H was well-represented, with 24 4th-12th grade archers competing in various divisions, including Cloverleaf, Junior, and Senior age groups, as well as Novice, Recurve, and Compound categories. Each participant had the opportunity to showcase their hard work and dedication, with several achieving remarkable success.
