The event will be held at J. G. Shuman Farms, located at 338 Chandler Avenue in Reidsville, Georgia. The program will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 12:00 noon, with a sponsored lunch provided immediately following the field day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event is open to all growers who are interested in current pecan research and production practices. Participants will have the opportunity to observe pecan production in a working orchard, hear from University of Georgia Extension specialists, and network with fellow growers and industry representatives. Topics to be covered during the program include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 2025 On-Farm Scab Fungicide Trial<br>\u2022 On-site Pre-Emergent Herbicide Plots and Economics<br>\u2022 Entomology Presentation<br>\u2022 Drone Research Update<br>\u2022 Varieties and Orchard Layout<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Industry equipment demonstrations will also take place during the morning session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Private and commercial pesticide license credits will be available to attendees who sign in at the event.
