If you are interested in learning more about citrus production, come join us at the Vidalia Onion and Vegetable Research Center. The meeting will have speaker covering orchard establishment, weed control, insect control, fertilization, and irrigation. Lunch will be provided, but we are asking all participants to register ahead of time to ensure enough food for everyone. Participants can register by contacting Aubrey Shirley, Derrick Bowen, or Ross Greene. There will be a tour of the farm after lunch to visit the newly established research orchard at the Onion Center.
The Vidalia Onion and Vegetable Research Center is located at 8163 GA-178, Lyons, GA 30436 out near the GA State Prison.
