Professional Development for Agricultural Literacy in Elementary Agriculture Teachers (PDAL EAT): A collaborative Elementary Agricultural Education training program funded by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture.
Objectives
- Develop EAE teachers to apply Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) within teaching Food and Agricultural Sciences.
- Develop EAE teachers to work in collaborative partnership with local EAE steering committees.
- Develop EAE teacher to utilize EAE school farms to increase students interested in FANH Sciences.
- Develop EAE teacher to utilize EAE farm-to-school programs to increase students interested in FANH Sciences.
- Infusing equity and inclusion throughout the project for both teachers and students.
