The theme for 2026 is Discover the Power of Nutrition. From the Academy, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>&#8220;Nutrition has the power to help individuals and communities thrive. Discover how food and beverage choices can help power your day. Learn tips for accessing healthy foods in your area. And build healthy habits into your day to help you feel great now and in the future.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The message for the first week of National Nutrition Month is Power Your Day with Nutrition. Tips include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose healthful foods from all food groups.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Include a variety of protein choices, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and dairy. Choose minimally processed, nutrient-dense foods to limit added sugars, sodium, and saturated fat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alternate your food choices for a variety of nutrients.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eating a variety of foods within each food group can help you get the nutrients you need.
