A few landscape, producer, and general Ag industry workers have asked about obtaining CEU credits for GA private and commercial pesticide licenses during these times of few-to-no in-person group meetings.

Below are some upcoming virtual events (all on Zoom, which anyone can download for free) where y’all can grab some CEU’s:

  1. UGA Center for Urban Ag is midway through their “Green Webinar Series,” part of the Getting the Best of Pest program. Though this program is targeted towards the green industry, anyone can join. Usually these webinar trainings would be conducted in groups at the extension office where we’d keep a sign-in sheet. Since that will not occur each individual viewing the webinar must follow the instructions at this website to obtain credit: https://gtbop.com/green-industry/.
  2. Willie Chance, retired UGA Extension Employee, puts on multiple Pest Manager Trainings across GA annually. He’s looking to possibly resume in-person training in Oct/Nov, view his website for more info: https://wchance3.wordpress.com/, but in the meantime Willie is offering virtual trainings, see below:
  3. Four UGA Extension agents have created a Summer Pasture Management Series which will consist of 4 weekly webinars starting August 11th. All webinars start at 7pm and can be accessed at: HTTPS://ZOOM.US/J/8982569952. See bullet points and flyer below for more details:
