A joint meeting between FSA and UGA will be held in in seven different locations between Oct 8-11th to talk about three major government support programs. At these production meetings representatives from both organizations will be on hand to answer questions about WHIP+, MFP and ARC/PLC. Flyer with locations and times below:

  • Wildfire and Hurricane Indemnity Program Plus (WHIP+) is a new disaster relief program providing monetary aid for those affected by losses in the 2018-2019 cropping season, such as those from Hurricane Michael. Sign-ups started Sep 11th.
  • 2019 Market Facilitation Program (MFP) is in response to retaliatory tariffs. Program target commodities such as milk, row crops, pecans and hogs.
  • Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) include producer decisions for each covered commodity with base.
