Northern Corn Leaf Spot – NOT – Northern Corn Leaf Blight<\/h2>\n

Here’s an image from former Seminole County Agent – Rome Etheredge. Leaf Spot (below) has smaller lesions with concentric rings inside the lesion giving it a “bulls-eye target” look.\u00a0 Kemerait says he’s seeing a fair amount of northern corn leaf spot in the lower leaves and that typically is only a cosmetic problem and doesn’t need to be treated with a fungicide.\u00a0 TO DATE (6\/1) -Southern corn rust has NOT<\/strong> been found in GA.<\/p>\n
