Any cotton already in the ground, and there is some, is going to be punished by this cold and wet weather. In fact, planting anything for the next few days is a bad idea. Cold and wet beg for seed rot. Cold and wet beg for slow and uneven germination. Cold and wet beg for sluggish emergence. Planting in cold and wet is like carrying a sign that says, \u201cI like to re-plant\u201d. And yes, in-furrow fungicides address these issues, they are not enough.
