SAMPLING PEANUTS TO CHECK FOR MATURITY

Pull 3 or 4 adjacent tap roots (and limb crop) from at least 3 representative parts of field. Keep the bundles separate. Pull off peanuts from vines collected from each location until you get 180 – 220 pods (little over 32 oz in measuring cup for 06 G variety).

Underground white mold on peanut pod. From irrigated field.
