2025 Paraquat Training

Remain current with required training for paraquat applications and have proof of completion. Each applicator must keep training completion record, and if requested by regulatory agencies, be able to produce this information. In addition, due to the fact that the required paraquat training applies not only to purchase and application, but all aspects of mixing, loading, and handling,  please communicate the importance of farm employees completing the paraquat training as well. The training is available in both English and Spanish versions and requires training certificate renewal every 3 years. The asynchronous paraquat training module is now live on Syngenta’s website.  It is available at Paraquat Training.  Links from Gramoxone 2.0 and 3.0 pages have been updated along with the EPA paraquat page.

  • There is no charge for the training and is open to everyone.
  • There is an English and Spanish version for the training.
  • There is a one-time registration form requiring name, email address, state, and pesticide application license number.
  • An automatic renewal email will be sent out to remind users when their 3-year recertification renewal is due.

This information has been updated on the UGA PSEP website under “Commercial” and “Private Applicators”.
