Methods and Material
GA 06G planted 5/14/20; single row; conventional tillage; Irrigated. 3 replications/treatment. Treatment = 12 rows wide X entire length of rows. Inverted 10/2/20. Picked 10/6/20. Spray volume = 20-gal water/A. Peanut/Cotton rotation. Treatments organized in randomized complete block design. White Mold (WM) ratings conducted after inverting and recorded as number 1’ WM hits/200’ of row. Leaf spot ratings conducted 9/18/20 and 10/2/20. Leaf spot and TSWV insignificant in trial. Avg WM = average number white mold hits/200’ of row among all replications respective to treatment. Avg Yield/A = average yield among all replications respective to treatment. Total Fungicide Costs/A includes all fungicides used in treatments and are approximate; costs were collected locally. Profit/A determined using only $355 (USDA loan rate) X tons – fungicide costs.
