The last week has been interesting watching all the discussion about the upcoming winter weather that is going to impact the area. I have had a few questions about past snow events. This information is from the National Weather Service. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first one is the Great Southeastern Snowstorm of 1973. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Christmas Snowstorm of 1989<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then there was a snow event in January 2018. <\/a> This snow event made the annual pilgrimage to Beltwide Cotton Conference with Scott Brown and Tim Flanders an unforgettable experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In February 1958, 1.5 inches of snow was recorded in Moultrie, GA. A storm developed over the southern Rockies then tracked along the Gulf
Coast states before ejecting northeast up the eastern seaboard. Precipitation started on the night of February 15th<\/sup> and persisted through the 16th<\/sup>. If you would like info about this storm go here. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
