This past year, 10 cotton varieties were evaluated in 24 different yield environments. The fiber quality information will be available soon. Colquitt County was the host of a dryland and an irrigated location for the on-farm variety trials this year. The Colquitt County dryland location was planted on May 16, 2023, and harvested on November 14, 2023. The Colquitt County irrigated location was planted on May 30, 2023, and harvested on November 20, 2023. I would like to thank Davis Family Farms and Perryman Farms for their help. This multi-location project could not be possible without the support of the Georgia Cotton Commission, Cotton Incorporated, and our industry partners.
