{"id":4130,"date":"2022-01-28T15:05:59","date_gmt":"2022-01-28T20:05:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/colquittag\/?p=4130"},"modified":"2022-01-28T15:06:01","modified_gmt":"2022-01-28T20:06:01","slug":"epa-approves-enlist-one-enlist-duo-labels-prostko","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/colquittag\/2022\/01\/epa-approves-enlist-one-enlist-duo-labels-prostko\/","title":{"rendered":"EPA Approves Enlist One\/Enlist Duo Labels (Prostko)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On January 11, 2022, the EPA approved the registrations for Enlist One (2,4-D choline) and Enlist Duo (glyphosate + 2,4-D choline) for an additional 7 years (2029).&nbsp; However, there will be significant label changes to help further protect the environment, pollinators, and endangered species.&nbsp; The following are some (<strong><em><u>not all<\/u><\/em><\/strong>) of the important label changes for the Enlist One\/Enlist Duo herbicide labels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1) Do not apply this product when soil is saturated or at field capacity, or when a storm event likely to produce runoff from the treated area is forecasted (by NOAA\/National Weather Service, or other similar forecasting service) to occur within 48 hours following application.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2) Do not irrigate treated fields within 48 hours of application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3)&nbsp;For land with Hydrologic Soil Groups A &amp; B: The land manager\/applicator must effectively implement runoff mitigation measures in the following table to equal a minimum of 4 credits. For land with Hydrologic Soil Groups C &amp; D: The land manager\/applicator must effectively implement runoff mitigation measures in the following tables to equal a minimum of 6 credits.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/img\/a\/AVvXsEiCPfIcZWRymq1ICggpXmEPl-mq0asqo6YfdGblRY4Wwo94hBOmK8gceMJx8xwQ3QcCdbuLYnNmJ9mXHObzsniy8yQ9WUALTfIGhdlMxZIPgL7IbT6ebhGOtgquk8igN0QHR34w8wPV7ICMrSBurNq43OCNPznChiMZV7NOyjCo59x6d_XpYE3vo1KH=s960\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/img\/a\/AVvXsEiCPfIcZWRymq1ICggpXmEPl-mq0asqo6YfdGblRY4Wwo94hBOmK8gceMJx8xwQ3QcCdbuLYnNmJ9mXHObzsniy8yQ9WUALTfIGhdlMxZIPgL7IbT6ebhGOtgquk8igN0QHR34w8wPV7ICMrSBurNq43OCNPznChiMZV7NOyjCo59x6d_XpYE3vo1KH=w640-h480\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4)&nbsp;<strong><u>For soybeans (POST)<\/u><\/strong>: Apply when weeds are no larger than 6 inches and any time after soybean emergence through the R1 growth stage.&nbsp; Do not apply after the R1 growth stage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5)&nbsp;<strong><u>For cotton (POST):<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;Apply when weeds are no larger than 6 inches and any time after cotton emergence up to first white bloom.
