There will be a Georgia Clean Day event that will be held at the Brooks County Ag. Annex/Extension Office on October 30, 2014.
This program is organized and administered by The Georgia Department of Agriculture, through funding provided by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This program gives everyone an opportunity to properly dispose of old, unusable pesticides that are no longer needed or that are no longer labeled. The collected materials are turned over to a hazardous waste contractor for disposal. There is no fee charged to participate in this program but you must pre-register by October 27, 2014.

- compressed gases
- solvents
- paints
- antifreeze
- motor oil
- explosive materials
- fertilizers
- nutrients that are neither hazardous or do not contain pesticide
