{"id":8329,"date":"2016-09-13T14:21:56","date_gmt":"2016-09-13T18:21:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/climate\/?p=8329"},"modified":"2016-09-13T14:21:56","modified_gmt":"2016-09-13T18:21:56","slug":"conserving-working-land-and-forces-seminar-dinners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/climate\/2016\/09\/conserving-working-land-and-forces-seminar-dinners\/","title":{"rendered":"Conserving Working Land and FORCES Seminar &amp; Dinners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The NC Forest Service and the the NC Wildlife Resources Commission have teamed up with NC State University Extension Forestry, with support from the USDA Forest Service, to offer forest landowners these special 2-hour workshops with dinner.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncsu-feop.org\/FORCES\/images\/FORCES_map_images.PNG\" alt=\"\" width=\"490\" height=\"286\" \/><br \/>\nIf you have managed forestland in the areas around Holly Shelter Game Lands, Angola Bay and Bear Gardens or near Ft. Bragg and Camp Mackall, you will enjoy learning about the FORCES program designed around your specific area.<\/p>\n<p>These workshops are made possible through a program called\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sentinellandscapes.wordpress.ncsu.edu\/files\/2016\/03\/FORCES-handout-FINAL-121813-2.pdf\">FORCES<\/a><\/strong> which is a joint partnership that includes the NC Forest Service (NCFS), the NC Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC), Camp Lejeune, and Fort Bragg.
