After several years of drought, Californians were looking forward to a wet El Ni\u00f1o season to refill their reservoirs and recharge their water systems. \u00a0But while northern California has seen much more rain than in the last few years, southern California is still suffering from a major lack of water, and drought conditions as well as watering restrictions are likely to continue into the next growing season unless they receive a large quantity of rain in the next month or two. \u00a0The two articles below provide some descriptions of the lack of water across the region.<\/p>\n
