The strong El Nino that is present in the eastern Pacific Ocean has created a lot of buzz lately on its likely impacts.\u00a0 Here are two articles that describe some of the ways weather and agriculture may be affected in the coming months.<\/p>\n

Bob Henson on the Weather Underground blog discusses the impacts of El Nino on temperature, precipitation and severe weather across the country.\u00a0 In the Southeast, the winter is likely to be cooler and wetter than normal, with an increase in the chances for severe weather in the fall season.\u00a0 You can read that here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
