I am sure that by now you all have your inventories and hurricane evacuation plans in place or will soon! Here are some recent stories about the upcoming hurricane season and hurricane climatology that you might find useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Weather Channel has a list of the 2025 hurricane names as well as info on the new hurricane forecast cone at <a href=\"https:\/\/weather.com\/storms\/hurricane\/news\/2025-03-11-atlantic-hurricane-season-changes-cone-names\">https:\/\/weather.com\/storms\/hurricane\/news\/2025-03-11-atlantic-hurricane-season-changes-cone-names<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A table of probabilities of named storms and hurricanes hitting different segments of the Southeast coast from Colorado State University is at <a href=\"https:\/\/tropical.colostate.edu\/TC_impact.html\">https:\/\/tropical.colostate.edu\/TC_impact.html<\/a>. Make sure you are using the average and not the 2024 forecast for average likelihood.
