It was written by a friend of mine, Barb Mayes Boustead, who is a severe weather specialist and someone who does storm chasing on her own and provides her take on the movie. I admit that when I saw it, I turned to my meteorologist husband after an hour and said &#8220;who would ever want to spend time with these people?&#8221; even though the special effects were interesting and somewhat better than the original <em>Twister<\/em>.
