Some of those crops include cold-hardy citrus in Georgia and Alabama, olives, and pomegranates. Here is an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalgeographic.com\/environment\/article\/italy-sicily-agriculture-tropical-climate?rid=57746D0E1E8FF5C329906A1B5D5C6528&amp;cmpid=org=ngp::mc=crm-email::src=ngp::cmp=editorial::add=Daily_NL_Monday_History_20240701\">interesting story<\/a> in <em>National Geographic<\/em> about how the warming climate is contributing to crop changes in Sicily, which has changed from a Mediterranean climate to something more tropical.
