The outlook shows that wetter than normal conditions are expected in September, especially early in the month. The temperature is expected to be warmer than normal in most of the region, with Alabama not leaning towards either warmer or cooler than normal. This is most likely because Alabama is also the most likely to be wetter than normal, which would increase cloud cover and reduce daily high temperatures.
