In fact, you can see that overnight minimum temperatures are a lot closer to normal than the daytime highs, which are down several degrees from normal in most of the Southeast due to the clouds. The lack of sun is having some negative impacts on the crops, as is the excessive humidity. Precipitation varies around the region quite a bit depending on where you are with respect to the track of the tropical systems we have seen. These maps from the <a href=\"https:\/\/hprcc.unl.edu\/maps.php?map=ACISClimateMaps\">High Plains Regional Climate Center<\/a> do not include most of the impact of TS Fred since they only go through the morning of August 16.
