Here is a teacher’s resource for educators of kids in grades 5-8 on coastal impacts of climate variability and change. The material was jointly produced by NASA and EPA in 2008, so it is a little dated since we have had a lot of hurricanes and tropical storms that affected the coast since then. However, it does provide some exercises that teachers may find useful in discussing coastal topography, meteorology, and related earth science topics. They also have a list of other modules related to El Nino and agriculture and climate and disease that might be useful. You can view the material here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
