But ENSO actually affects weather across the whole globe, so if you are watching the global markets for corn, cotton, or other crops to see how prices may be affected by weather conditions in far-flung parts of the earth, you need to know those relationships, too. Here is a good <a href=\"https:\/\/climate.gov\/news-features\/blogs\/enso\/enso-climate-conductor-global-crop-yields\">article<\/a> in NOAA&#8217;s Climate blog describing the global effects of ENSO on crop yields in many of the primary crop-growing regions of the world.
