Other areas of  moderate drought in Alabama have also expanded slightly and new areas of abnormally dry (D0) conditions have been added there. In the rest of the region, areas of abnormally dry conditions in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina have decreased. Moderate drought in Puerto Rico along the northern coast increased slightly.
