Even if only a couple of them hit near Georgia, they could be devastating. So now is a great time to take advantage of the temporary lull in storms to get ready, if you have not already. The Georgia Emergency Management Agency has a great publication with a lot of useful information about what to do before, during, and after a storm. It also includes storm surge maps for the Georgia coast and information on their Ready Georgia App, which is one of the few apps that I recommend for use during hurricanes. You can find it at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weather.gov\/media\/chs\/misc\/GAHurricaneGuide.pdf\">https:\/\/www.weather.gov\/media\/chs\/misc\/GAHurricaneGuide.pdf<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are in a different state, your state emergency management agency probably has a lot of useful information too.
