I received this notice about four virtual listening sessions on the new proposed Drought Dashboard for the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Drought Early Warning System and want to pass it along to you. They were originally intended to be held in person, but because of the pandemic have been moved to online discussions. I encourage you to sign up for one of these sessions and add your perspective to how drought should be identified and monitored in the Southeast. You do have to register in advance to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please plan to attend\u00a0one\u00a0of our upcoming\u00a0virtual\u00a0listening sessions that will inform the design of the new Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint (ACF) Drought Dashboard<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0Due to a high level of response, we have added two more sessions. All in Eastern Time zone.

Description:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Four virtual listening sessions will be held to inform the design of the new Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint Drought Dashboard. Registration is required.\u00a0You will receive information on how to join the virtual meeting after you register.\u00a0If you prefer, you can register by calling Linda Means at the Georgia Water Planning & Policy Center: 229-430-2900.
Registration is limited to 40 participants per session. We encourage you to sign up for just one session to provide space for others to participate and support focused discussions in each session. If you need to change your registration to a different session, please contact Kristin Rowles (\u00a0krowles@ho2policycenter.org<\/a>\u00a0).

The ACF Drought Dashboard will be a free, web-based application that allows users to monitor drought situations in real-time and\u00a0facilitate data-driven decision-making.\u00a0The online interface will be located on the U.S. Drought Portal website Drought. gov, a one-stop shop for current, reliable, and useful information and resources related to drought.\u00a0The ACF Drought Dashboard will be user-driven from the start, with its development based on a series of stakeholder engagement workshops.
