The next few days will be dry, then rain chances will pick up by Tuesday and grow later in the week. Many places could see several inches of rain in the Thursday through Saturday period. The NWS Southeast River Forecast Center has noted that this may result in widespread minor flooding along rivers in the region. The only exception is southern Florida, which is not expected to feel the effects of this wet system.
