Here is a NOAA source that allows you to get data compiled by county rather than by individual station.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a short description of how the county-level data are created: &#8220;<span class=\"pullquote processed\">County data, available since November 2018, provide a more localized picture of weather and climate conditions<\/span>. The county-level data are generated from a dataset known as nClimGrid, which is based on the\u00a0<a id=\"anch_13\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncdc.noaa.gov\/data-access\/land-based-station-data\/land-based-datasets\/global-historical-climatology-network-ghcn\" rel=\"nofollow\">GHCN<\/a>\u00a0dataset and is the foundational dataset for studying the climate across larger geographic areas.
