One of the most interesting quotes in the blog said\u00a0\u201cIt would take 2.4 million logging trucks to remove all of the dead trees that we have in Florida as a result of this hurricane,\u201d according to\u00a0<a class=\"ext\" href=\"https:\/\/www.freshfromflorida.com\/Divisions-Offices\/Florida-Forest-Service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Florida Forest Service<span class=\"ext\"><span class=\"element-invisible\">(link is external)<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0State Forester\/Director Jim Karels.<\/p>\n<p>Not only was a lot of timber destroyed, but the lack of good trees will hurt mills in the area as many of the downed trees that are salvaged will not be able to be processed by the mills.
