Even though it is cold, drought can continue to get worse if little precipitation is received. I&#8217;ve heard some comments that the Drought Monitor is underestimating how much drought there is, so if you are seeing local impacts and don&#8217;t think the DM is portraying your conditions accurately, the best way to make your situation known is to report it to the Drought Impact Reporter at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/droughtreporter.unl.edu\/map\/\">https:\/\/droughtreporter.unl.edu\/map\/<\/a>.
