{"id":12401,"date":"2017-09-09T11:36:16","date_gmt":"2017-09-09T15:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/climate\/?p=12401"},"modified":"2017-09-09T11:36:16","modified_gmt":"2017-09-09T15:36:16","slug":"heavy-rain-from-irma-dominates-weeks-precipitation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/climate\/2017\/09\/heavy-rain-from-irma-dominates-weeks-precipitation\/","title":{"rendered":"Heavy rain from Irma dominates week&#8217;s precipitation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest 7-day QPF forecast is, as you might expect, dominated by the rainfall from Hurricane Irma, which is already battering southern Florida with the outer spiral bands.\u00a0 Most of this week&#8217;s rain will fall in the first three days, with lighter amounts for the rest of the week.\u00a0 Keep in mind that this rainfall pattern is highly dependent on the path of Irma so don&#8217;t be surprised if the highest amounts shift in value as well as location, but the general pattern and amounts should hold.
