May 3rd warmest, spring 2nd warmest on record for globe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NOAA released their latest global climate summary this week.\u00a0 It shows that for May 2017, the global average temperature was the third warmest since 1880 (behind 2016 and 2015), and for March-May, it was the second warmest on record, trailing 2016.\u00a0 Their report, which can be accessed through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncei.noaa.gov\/news\/global-climate-201705\">https:\/\/www.ncei.noaa.gov\/news\/global-climate-201705<\/a>, also shows that ice cover in both the Arctic and Antarctic was less
