{"id":11013,"date":"2017-05-06T16:26:24","date_gmt":"2017-05-06T20:26:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/climate\/?p=11013"},"modified":"2017-05-06T16:34:31","modified_gmt":"2017-05-06T20:34:31","slug":"what-is-a-wake-low","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/site.extension.uga.edu\/climate\/2017\/05\/what-is-a-wake-low\/","title":{"rendered":"What is a &#8220;wake low&#8221;?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 2014 on April 30\u00a0a morning storm came through Athens and dropped a large oak tree between my garage and my neighbor&#8217;s house. \u00a0It barely missed the garage but clipped a corner of the neighbor&#8217;s house.
