The Georgia Climate Project<\/b>\u00a0(GCP) is a three-year effort by academic institutions across the state (including Emory, Georgia Tech, and UGA) to improve understanding of climate impacts and solutions in Georgia.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
GCP is working on something called the Georgia Climate Research Roadmap. \u00a0<\/b>The roadmap<\/i> is an effort\u00a0to identify and rank \u201cGeorgia\u2019s Top 40\u201d climate research questions. \u00a0The objective of this effort is to identify and rank 40 of Georgia\u2019s most important research questions that, if answered, would most contribute to advancing knowledge and creating solutions to the challenges that climate change poses to Georgia.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
We want to determine which important questions, if answered, would most help policymakers<\/b>, practitioners<\/b>, and scientists<\/b> to better understand and address climate-related challenges and opportunities in Georgia. \u00a0This includes agricultural producers!<\/div>\n

We are in the early stages of this process, and this process begins with you<\/b>: we are asking experts from across the state to submit candidate questions pertinent to your field, sector, and\/or geographic location.<\/span><\/div>\n
