According to the Washington Post<\/em>, “A wildflower superbloom is underway in the desert Southwest in March after seven inches of winter rain. Anza-Borrego State Park in California\u00a0hasn\u2019t experienced a bloom so prolific\u00a0since at least 1999 according to park officials.” \u00a0AFAR<\/em> says that a\u00a0\u201csuper bloom\u201d is a technical term which means an \u201coverwhelming abundance\u201d\u2014as in the kind of naturally occurring wildflower spectacle you see once in your life. Because of the abundant rainfall in southeast California this winter, the desert is coming alive with a profusion of wildflowers that occurs only occasionally. \u00a0You can read more about it at the links below:<\/p>\n
