The New York Times ran an interesting article yesterday by a woman who lived through the direct passage of Hurricane Andrew west of Miami. If you wondered what being in the direct path of an extreme storm was like, you will be interested in reading this. I visited Miami ten months after Andrew passed and was amazed at the devastation that still remained there from the storm.
