NOAA has released their monthly climate summary for the US for July 2021. You can read the summary of conditions at https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/news/national-climate-202107 or view that and many other national climate reports at https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/. The summary shows that Florida and Virginia were the most above average in temperature, with other areas near or slightly cooler than normal. Most of the Southeast was wetter than normal, with just a few dry areas in eastern Florida and western Virginia.
