The latest Drought Monitor, released today, shows only slight changes in drought conditions across the region this week. The biggest increases in drought came in Florida and Virginia, with just small adjustments in most of the other states. Since the next week is going to be dry for most of the region and temperatures will be increasing, we can expect some increases on next week’s map. There was no change in dry conditions in Puerto Rico this week.
