The latest Drought Monitor, released today, shows that while there is no drought in most of the Southeast, the severe drought in southern Florida grew in the last week with little rain. Dry conditions in Alabama changed only slightly. With a wet system expected to impact the southern Florida peninsula, that is likely to improve on next week’s map.
