If you live in any of the counties below in northeast Georgia, your help is needed for a University of Georgia study on wind and wind-related damage.  Participation is easy–use your computer to fill out a 20-30 minute survey on wind damage in your area and your opinions of several severe weather conditions.  In return for your time, you will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a NOAA weather radio.

The counties included in this survey are Athens-Clarke, Barrow, Jackson, Oglethorpe, Madison, Oconee, Elbert, Hart, Franklin, Banks, Hall, Gwinnett, Walton, Rockdale, Newton, Morgan, Greene, Taliaferro, or Wilkes counties.

You can read more about the study and click to participate at https://www.athensgaweather.com/wind-study/.

Disclaimer: The principal investigator is my husband, Dr. John Knox.  He and I thank you for your help in this student project!
