NOAA: January 2023 ranked seventh warmest on record for globe

The latest monthly climate summary for the globe for January 2023 was released by NOAA last week. It shows that January 2023 was the 7th warmest since global records began in 1880. They said that 2023 is virtually certain (99% chance) to be in the top 10 warmest years on record. In addition, the sea ice hit its lowest areal coverage in any year.
