The latest Drought Monitor, released this morning, shows that there is currently no drought in the region. However, there are still patches of abnormally dry (D0) conditions in Alabama, and Florida, where they have shrunk, and in Georgia, where they have expanded due to lack of rainfall from Marco and Laura. With little to no rain expected this week for all of the Southeast except Florida, we could see some expansion of D0 in next week’s map.
