The latest Drought Monitor map, released this morning, shows that a lot of the drought that was in the Southeast last week has been reduced or removed by the rain from Hurricane Michael which occurred last week after the DM was finalized. There are still a few small patches of moderate drought remaining in Georgia where less rain fell and deficits were greater.
