NOAA released their latest monthly and seasonal summary for the May and March-May periods, respectively, earlier today. The summary shows that a lot of the country was warmer than normal for both the May and March-May periods. Wet conditions were present in many parts of the US, including the Southeast, although both Florida and the Southwest were quite dry. According to the press release and summary, four new billion-dollar disasters were confirmed this month.
