With just a few days to go until the end of the month, it looks like May 2017 is likely to be above normal in temperature for the Southeast and every individual state except possibly Alabama, although a good portion of Georgia was also cooler than normal.  This would make the string of months of above normal temperatures grow by one to include every month since January 2016.
